A Magisterium AI alternative that also sets reminders
Magisterium AI is for studying Church teaching. Gianna helps you pray, with novenas, a prayer list, and feast-day reminders, and points you to your parish for formation.

Magisterium AI is a good tool for studying Church teaching. It answers from a large collection of magisterial documents and shows its citations. If that is all you need, use it.
Gianna is built for a different job: helping you pray. It keeps your novena going, holds the people you have promised to pray for, and reminds you of feasts and Confession. For formation in the faith, Gianna points you to the Catechism and to people: your priest, a catechist, your parish.
Where the two overlap
Both answer questions about Catholic teaching from official sources and cite them. Gianna retrieves passages from the Holy See's website, including the complete Catechism, the 1983 Code of Canon Law, the documents of Vatican II, and papal encyclicals from Leo XIII onwards. The full texts are in Gianna's free reference library, with a link for every paragraph and canon.
What Gianna adds
- Novenas. Start one of nearly 90 novenas. Gianna brings each day's prayer and keeps count. See Novenas.
- Reminders and routines. "Remind me on Friday that it's a day of penance." "Send me the Angelus at noon every day." See Reminders.
- A prayer list. Gianna keeps the people you have promised to pray for and brings them back to you. See Prayer intentions.
- Your parish. Gianna finds Mass and Confession times from the parish's own website and shows when they were last checked. See Mass and Confession times.
- The liturgical calendar. Ordinary Form, 1962, and Dominican calendars, with readings and the Liturgy of the Hours in the traditional and Dominican forms.
- A household. Your spouse can join the same account with their own login. Tasks and the prayer list are shared; conversations stay separate.
Built to send you to people
Gianna is software and does not act as a priest, catechist, or spiritual director. When a conversation needs a person, Gianna suggests a priest, Mass, or someone at your parish. See Catholic use and safeguards.
