An AI assistant for your parish website

Add Gianna to a parish or diocesan website or a QR code. Visitors ask questions anonymously and are pointed to Mass, a priest, and your own people and events.

People often have a question about the faith they would not ask a priest straight away. A parish can put Gianna on its website, a newsletter, or a QR code in the church porch. Visitors ask their question, get a sourced answer, and are pointed to real people in your parish.

What a visitor sees

A visitor opens the conversation from your website or a QR code. Gianna starts with the opening question you set, such as "What happens at a Catholic Mass?"

Your parish's own people and events

The parish keeps a set of resources that Gianna can recommend: events, videos, testimonials, parish information, and contacts. Events can come straight from ChurchSuite, ParishSOFT, eCatholic, Planning Center, Breeze, or any public iCalendar feed.

Contacts are people who have agreed to be suggested, each with a short biography: their parish role and who they are well placed to help. If a visitor asks to speak to someone, Gianna shows who will receive the request and exactly which details will be sent. Nothing is sent until the visitor agrees, and the conversation itself is never shared.

What the parish sees

The parish sees aggregate figures for each entry point: conversations, returns, recommendations, contact requests, sign-ups, and feedback. Name each QR code or embed clearly, such as "St Mary's porch" or "September newsletter", to compare them. Nobody at the parish can read transcripts.

Safeguards

Gianna says it is an AI assistant. It does not act as a priest, catechist, or spiritual director. Every release passes an adversarial test suite covering doctrinal challenges, invented claims, and sensitive situations before it is published. See Catholic use and safeguards.

Setting it up

A parish, pastoral area, or diocese runs Gianna as a project with an agreed purpose, term, and price. Members create QR codes and website embeds from the organisation area. The embed is a single iframe snippet. See Embedding Gianna.

For parishioners

Parishioners can also use Gianna at home for novenas, a family prayer list, and feast-day reminders. The early-bird offer gives half price for the first year: Standard is $5 a month or $40 a year, normally $10 or $80, with seven days free. Prices checked on 17 October 2026.
