People looking for a Hallow alternative usually want one of two things: a cheaper way to pray, or help with parts of Catholic life that Hallow does not cover. This page is about the second.

What each is for

Hallow is a prayer app built around guided audio: the Rosary, meditations, Scripture, and sleep content, read by narrators. You open it and listen.

Gianna is a Catholic AI assistant you talk to in text, or by voice on the Pro plan. It keeps track of what you mean to do and reminds you at the right time. It has no narrated audio sessions.

What Gianna does that a prayer app usually does not

Using both

The two fit together. A routine in Gianna can remind you each evening to pray the Rosary, which you might then pray with Hallow. Gianna's free feast-day calendars work alongside any prayer app.
